Masseria Alchimia Fasano

From the outside, Fasano's Masseria Alchimia appears much like any other traditional Puglian mansion house: with thick white stone walls, a charming Mediterranean garden and groves of silver leaved olive trees shimmering in the sun. Inside, the story changes and guests find themselves immersed in an environment, in which everything, from the lighting design to the choice of furniture, oozes contemporary luxury.

It is this bold contrast of old and new, ancient and modern, that makes the aptly named Masseria Alchimia (alchemy in Italian) such a cult holiday hangout. Here guests do not stay in bedrooms but rather in super-accessorized "studios", with Wi-Fi, satellite television, kitchen corner and solarium terrace overlooking the garden or the sea of Marina di Savelletri. Then there are the "designer bathrooms", for those wishing to indulge in a chromotherapy session or bathe outdoors in the privacy of their terrace.

The hotel's panoramic communal terrace is the ideal spot in which to relax over a good book or simply contemplate the spectacular scenery surrounding the property. Art lovers will appreciate the 'exhibitions of installations, sculptures, paintings and photographic work regularly held in the Masseria.

Whilst guests staying at Masseria Alchimia will be tempted to spend much of their time lazing on the terrace or on the gorgeous private beach, those keen to explore more of the region can quickly reach Alberobello, Ostuni, Grotte di Castellana, Putignano, Martina Franca and Polignano a Mare, all of which are within easy driving distance of the hotel.
