Masseria Bernardini Description
Masseria Bernardini is the expression of a new concept of hospitality known as "Home & More". Contemporary living spaces and a family style welcome await guests arriving at this centuries old property, located in the countryside just outside Nardò, between Gallipoli and the beaches of the Porto Selvaggio Nature Reserve.
Masseria Bernardini occupies part of the ancient rural complex of Agnano, an impressive farmstead dating back to the 15th century which, until 1989, was still an integral part of a large working farm providing accommodation to the labourers who worked the fields and olive groves. A display of both old and young olive trees surround the gardens of the Masseria where an attractive swimming pool and solarium terrace are located.
Today Masseria Bernardini is a place where traditional characteristics of Apulian architecture and elements of contemporary design meet so as to form beautiful, light-filled rooms, in which works from the Cartiere Vannucci collection of Modern Art are displayed. A stunning Art Resort, Masseria Bernardini offers guests accommodation in stylish apartments complete with kitchen and living area.
Those wishing to savour the finest local cuisine have the opportunity to experience Masseria Bernardini's "Private dining service", whereby meals featuring all the very best regional fare are served to guests directly in their apartments. Breakfast is also served in the rooms.
