Masseria Cimino Savelletri di Fasano

The Masseria Cimino, an 18th century farmhouse, has been transformed in the luxurious Guest House of the San Domenico Golf Club.

The guest house is situated in what was once a large and busy farmstead, close to the fishing village of Savelletri and just meters away from the sea edge.
The Guest house is located within a recently discovered archaeological site, containing traces of the ancient Roman city of Egnathia, dating back to the VI century B.C.

In past centuries, the Masseria Cimino, surrounded by fields and olive trees, was an agricultural center of considerable importance which administered the cultivation of the fields and the storage of the produce grown.

The buildings were used predominantly for the processing of the agricultural products. As in almost all the farmsteads in Apulia, part of the edifice was reserved for the habitations of the landowner's employees and occasional residence of the proprietor himself.
In 2001 the San Domenico Golf Course was built around the property, resulting in a fabulous 18 hole golf course with stunning views out over the Adriatic sea.
In 2005 the Masseria Cimino was subject of a meticulous restoration project aimed at preserving all the original architectural features of the building and transforming the edifice in superb on site accommodation for true golfing enthusiasts.

The Masseria Cimino has 15 guest bedrooms situated in the main building and the adjacent tower. The rooms are all furnished in Mediterranean style, using authentic local materials. A number of the rooms have fireplaces whilst others have balconies overlooking the golf course and the sea.

Masseria Cimino is situated in Savelletri di Fasano, on the Puglian coast, between the cities of Bari and Brindisi. Close to Masseria Cimino one finds a number of Puglia's most celebrated tourist attractions, places such as Fasano, Cisternino, Alberobello and, just a little further a field, Manfredonia and Ostuni.

Those travelling to the Masseria by car should take the Bari-Brindisi Superstrada and exit at Savelletri. The nearest railway station is that of Fasano, on the Bologna-Bari-Lecce line, and just 5kms from the Masseria.
Brindisi airport is located 40kms from the hotel and Bari airport is a 70km drive away.
