Patria Palace introduction

The 5 star luxury hotel Patria Palace is situated in the historic center of Lecce, a fascinating Apulian city of art located in territory between the Adriatic and Ionic seas.

Lecce, for the immense beauty and number of its ancient monuments, was once given the name "Athens of Apulia", later known as the "Florence of South Italy" in virtue of its impressive baroque architecture dating back to the 17th century.

The Patria Palace is located in the heart of the city's baroque center, within walking distance of some of the city's most beautiful buildings, all constructed using the local stone; a soft marble which, centuries ago, the city's master masons modelled in to flamboyant friezes, cherubs, vases, and intricate columns, with which to adorn the ornate facades of churches and administrative buildings.

The hotel itself is situated in the elegant 18th century Palazzo D'Anna Petrarolo.
Each and every one of the hotel's 67 rooms and suites are individually furnished and contain stunning wall murals by artist John Duggan. The rooms overlooking the Piazzetta Riccardi square afford unique views of the immense rose window of the Basilica of Santa Croce.

The hotel's highly acclaimed Atenze restaurant, with a seating capacity for 60 guests, serves beautifully presented Mediterranean cuisine and specialities of the Apulia region.

The luxurious Salone delle Feste is the much requested venue for high profile wedding receptions, celebrations and gala dinners for up to 150 guests. Danny's bar is the perfect place where to relax and enjoy a cocktail or after dinner drink. The Patria Palace has 8 function rooms for meetings and events for 8 to 140 participants.
