Tenuta Quintino introduction
On the Salento peninsula, the high heel of Italy, between Taranto and Gallipoli, near the fishing village of Porto Cesaro and the marvelous beaches of the Ionian Sea, you will find the 16th century country house that is now the Tenuta Quintino Hotel. The building has been sensitively redesigned and restored, using traditional techniques and materials. Originally constructed for Prince Vincenzo Imperiali of Avetrana, Tenuta Quintino now provides interesting holiday accommodation.
Passing through the iron gates, guests enter what was once farmyards - now elegantly landscaped courtyards, the aged olive and palm trees contrasting with the new gazebos, which belong to each room and apartment. Opening off these courtyards are 14 rooms and 4 small apartments. The interiors are all furnished in simple country style, with stone or rendered walls, traditional tiled floors, and have fascinating architectural and décor details.
Tenuta Quintino is the ideal starting point from which to visit the towns and cities of the Salento region, and also to discover, and enjoy, the gastronomic delicacies and the wine of the Puglia.
