Capital of the Salento, splendid Baroque city between two seas.

Positioned in the Southern most part of Italy, Lecce lies in the heart of Salento, the land which lies between the Ionic and Adriatic seas. Its old nickname is the Florence of Baroque and Lecce is home to a wealth of Baroque architecture made in Pietra Leccese, a particular gold colored stone.
